La La Lovely.
Americana pop singer and songwriter Rae Isla has formed a space for her genre-blending, airy songs. This is a long time coming for the artist who doesn't let anything stop her- not even her own dreams or illusions of how things should be.
She first got into music at the age of three. Later in life, she taught herself how to play the guitar and piano and fell in love with the freedom to write songs and compose melodies. She then attended Berklee College of Music, funded, and released three EP's under the moniker "Raine", and basically hasn't stopped since.
Her first official release as Rae Isla was the song titled "Mexico", and her second single, "Just Because", had its music video debut on MTV Latin America in early 2018. Fast forward to now, where we have the pleasure of premiering her second single from her debut record, 'Another Life', set for release on May 7th. Oh, and did we mention that this gem of a track comes with a music video shot in Mexico City with a female-led team? Well, it does, and you can watch it below:

Rae doesn't let her "dreams" cloud her vision of what she has to do to accomplish what she wants in life. With a very down-to-earth mindset and creativity like no other, one can't be anything but excited for what she will create next.
