Five Fun Facts with Victor Perry
It's 'New Music Friday,' and we are back with a new release we think you will enjoy as much as we do. NYC based singer-songwriter/vocalist Victor Perry has dropped an EP titled 'REWIND.' We aren't joking when we say you will most likely hit that 'replay' button a couple of times.
Perry truly has "the unique ability to sing with a harmonic lyrical phrasing and contemporary crooning that'll set any listener's mind at ease." He's managed to incorporate his beautiful voice with catchy yet soulful sounds that will have you singing along and thinking you can reach the notes he does. If you're anything like myself, you'll quickly realize that you cannot, and you're better off just singing along at a volume only you can hear. I have to admit that I can't say I have just one track that is my favorite because I have three. If you can't spare the twenty-one minutes to listen to the EP from start to finish, you have to listen to "Greenlight," "Reciprocity," and "Rewind."
We've even made it easy, and you can find the songs here:
The first impression of Perry has you thinking, "Wow, this guy looks way too young to be singing about love in such a poetic way." And don't get me wrong, not mad at it. It made me intrigued to learn more about the artist. So we did what you should know us best for doing by now, and we asked him to send over five facts about himself. And of course, we had to share them with you all.
Read what he shared below:
I have a twin brother - fraternal.
I met Rihanna, and she told me that I'm an inspiring leader.
I once sang on Good Morning America. I sang Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved."
I teach Middle School English in NYC, and my kids usually know about my music before they know me, haha.
I'm severely introverted. If I had to choose between going to a party or watching Netflix, Netflix would win every time.
