ANRAY
As expected, we enjoy presenting some of the most promising up-and-coming artists from all corners of the music world. We want to introduce ANRAY, an artist who stands out in the music scene due to his versatility and multi-talented skills. As a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and fingerstyle guitarist, he has honed his craft and created a distinctive, captivating, and unique sound.
His journey in music began in the Moscow underground in 2017, where he performed and developed his stage presence. The years 2018-2019 marked a turning point as he graced various shows and programs, such as "Strana FM," the "Evening Moscow" TV channel, "Emporio Music Fest 5" by Baigaly, and featured in renowned publications like "The Wall Magazine," "Kommersant," and "Time Out." His talent didn't go unnoticed, earning him an invitation to the curator project "Music in the Underground '' on "VM" radio and social network.
ANRAY continued to rise the following year when he captivated the global pop-up events community at Sofar Sounds Moscow with his exceptional charisma and style. Notably, on March 1, 2019, he presented his original composition "Hypno," a fusion of ambient sequences crafted through a bass guitar, live percussion, and acoustic guitar.
ANRAY's most recent release this year, titled "Never Regret", featuring a collaboration with Young Dumbs, is one we've had on repeat. It showcases an electronic fusion of dance, EDM, and pop. Inspired by Chainsmokers, Imagine Dragons, and Maroon 5, the production boasts a western-quality sound. Aside from its refreshing vibes, the track delivers a compelling vocal melody with catchy lyrics narrating the story of an individual embarking on a quest for answers and beginning a journey toward a brighter future.
With "Never Regret," ANRAY continues to showcase his musical prowess and versatility, delivering a captivating and energetic performance alongside Young Dumbs. This is one of many reasons why we will continue to watch him and see what he creates next.
